Product Details:

Titanium Gr 5 Round Bars is used in applications that are up to 400 degreesCelsius. It has a chemical composition of 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium, 0.25% (maximum) iron, 0.2% (maximum) oxygen, and the remainder titanium. It is significantly stronger than commercially pure titanium while having the same stiffness and thermal properties. Among its many advantages, it is heat treatable.

Product Details:

Titanium is a rare metal, with exceptional properties, including resistance to chlorine ions. However, the benefit of using a Titanium Round Bar is that it is light in weight. Being a lightweight metal offers weight saving advantages not only to the user but also to the worker installing it. When stainless steels are used in applications, the more conventional ones such as grade 304 or 316 tend to be heavier and denser. Since the density of a Titanium Square Bar is low, the installation of these bars is quicker and the work done is also more efficient.

 Moreover, the corrosion resistance of titanium is also what attracts Titanium Round Bar Suppliers. The strength of titanium is almost 2 times that of aluminum, although the density is 60% more than the former. Although it is possible to use Pure Titanium Flat Bar at high temperatures, the use of heat exceeding a temperature of 430 °C causes loss in strength. Because the alloy is ductile, the hardness properties of commercially pure titanium are lower than some grades of heat treated steels. Because the ASTM B348 Ti Alloy Hex Bar undergoes a phenomenon known as Atmospheric passivation, these bars tend to exhibit excellent resistance to corrosion, which is almost on similar terms to platinum.
