A106 Grade B Seamless Pipe is suitable for high temperature services. The specification is for seamless carbon steel pipes that can support flanging, bending and other forming operations. The material has carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, chromium, copper, molybdenum, nickel and vanadium in the composition. There are different schedules, wall thicknesses and outer diameters of the pipes. The ASTM A106 Gr B Sch 40 comes with good corrosion resistance and strength properties. The minimum tensile strength of the pipes is 48ksi and the minimum yield strength is 30ksi. These pipes can be welded with most conventional methods.
